Monkey D. Luffy, better known as Straw Hat Luffy, is the main protagonist of the One Piece manga and anime series. He is the captain and founder of the Straw Hat Pirates as well as one of the Four Emperors who rule the seas of the New World. He ate a Devil Fruit called the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which turned him into a rubber man. In addition to this, he has several abilities that make him a more than special pirate; a great example of this is the ability to use haoshoku haki and also possess the other two types of haki.
